Amoung the many new ultra-thin PDPs and LCDs shown on CES 2008 Sharp is the ONLY ONE who has not make a solid commitment to actually mass-produce this unit. Hitachi was the only one that will start releasing their 0.75″ thick LCDs this year and by 2009 their 1.5″ Plasmas., Similar story with Panasonic’s Viera Thin and Pioneer’s Project KURO. Both manufacturers are schedule to be producing them by 2010. Sharp like always is dead last.
