Pros: Thin profile, swivel base, 240 Hz refresh rate, accurate color, it's like the characters are in the same room with you. This set has a wonderful image and color with HD programming from our cable box.
Cons: Pricey.You have to buy 3D glasses separately as well as the wifi usb connector. IT SHOULD COME WITH AT LEAST ONE PAIR OF GLASSES SO YOU CAN GET THE EXPERIENCE AND BECOME ENTHUSIASTIC AND BUY MORE. IT SHOULD ALSO HAVE WIFI BUILT INSIDE OF IT ALREADY.
Summary: Excellent buy. If you're looking for an LED thin profile TV look no further. Samsung has hit another homerun!!!

Very slim design.
Tons of options for connectivity and works flawlessly with my Samsung's BR player.
Light weight.Cons: The stand is a piece of garbage and my TV did not sit level after several re-attachments.
Back-light uniformity issues. Corners are significantly brighter when watching movies that do not fill the entire screen.
Expensive. Trendy look = high price.
Summary: I purchased this TV to be the centerpiece of a new entertainment center I am putting together. Naively I went for a top of the line LED because I heard that they can compete with the best plasmas without the "burn-in" (this is probably just propaganda).
Summary: I purchased this TV to be the centerpiece of a new entertainment center I am putting together. Naively I went for a top of the line LED because I heard that they can compete with the best plasmas without the "burn-in" (this is probably just propaganda). First off, as I wish I knew before I purchased, this television is not a full array LED backlit set. I'll get to why this matters. After calibrating, I tested out my Avatar bluray. I was stunned at the color quality and detail. I liked the Clear setting for AutoMotionPlus, since it reduced blur and didn't give that soap opera effect. I watched the movie several times throughout the week because I enjoyed it so much on this set. Then I tested out the Clash of the Titans bluray. Same excellent picture quality, but one big difference. This movie does not fill the entire screen. Something was bothering me while watching and I couldn't figure it out, until I looked at the corners of the screen. Then I noticed the uniformity issues. Note: I wasn't looking for it nor did I know about it beforehand. The edges were significantly brighter than the rest of the screen. It is as if there was a flash light streaming towards the center of the screen behind the black bars. I tried adjusting the settings to no avail.
Another issue is with the stand. No matter how many times I unscrewed and reattached I could not get the TV to stand level. The stand is sleek at the cost of sturdiness and level. A good set shouldn't have these issues (they even mention it in the Troubleshooting section of the manual). I just ended up mounting it on my center furniture piece.
Long story short, I went back to Best Buy, returned the set and exchanged it for the PN50C8000 (Samsung's top of the line plasma at the same price). The fact that I paid close to 2 grand for the LED and it has these visible issues was something I could not overcome. For me, it would probably be full-array LED or no LED at all (this set's technology just results in a thinner unit).
I will review the PN50C8000 when I get it delivered and all set up. I will not believe the "burn-in" scare.

"Great picture, Thin design. 3D !!!" on October 14, 2010Pros: 4HDMI. Internet tv. LED 3D. its just an all out amazing picture !!Cons: very VERY little white ghosting when the screen is all black. but not noticeable at all while a picture is on the screen.
Summary: I upgraded form a samsung dlp 50in 1080p 60hz to this and wow.. the 240hz refresh rate is so smooth and the picture is just all out amazing ill let the specs speak for them self. I was a lil bothered about goin from a 50in to a 46in
