WOW
I couldn’t be happier with the picture. The sound is average at best (as with any flat screen). Try to make room in your budget for a/v receiver and 5.1 speakers if possible.

It’s a SONY
After careful research, I decided to buy the 46XBR6 from Amazon. They offered free white glove delivery and a nice low price. The shipping company was the absolute worst!

Good TV.. horrible service (delivery)
The TV as such was good, but compared to the latest Samsung 7100 series that I saw in Best Buy a week after purchasing this, Sony is not as good.

Awesome TV
Just purchased directly from amazon.com. TV has an awesome picture and a lot of features. By far the best picture I have seen on any current LCD TV on the market.

LCD died after 15 months – no extended warranty
You better buy an extended warranty. My LCD screen died after 15 months – 3 months out of warranty. It costs more to replace the LCD panel than it does to buy a new one.

Broke after 2 months
I bought this 2 months ago and it worked great. Then all of a sudden I get a red line down the middle of the screen and it won’t go away. Looks like it is a dead tv.

XBR6 = Great Quality
The White Glove Service left a little to be desired. They were running several hours late and wanted to get in, unpacked and out as quickly as possible.

Great TV!
I just got my 46XBR6 yesterday and I tested it out. First was regular cable through the coaxial cable hook-up. That looked very good and I was impressed.

I just want to start off with saying that until I purchased this t.v. I’ve never been a fan of Sony.
