LG 42LB5D 42-inch HD LCD TV

i’we just today bought LG 42LG5000, mo’es B-D. Yeahhhhhh. Its just great with PS3 and 800 Watts sound system. Tv and LG 5.1 sound system cost for me just 3200 Lt (1142 $ ). Lithuania !!!!!

The picture only goes weird if you use the lower end inputs, as with most non direct view sets. ( ie, plasma, LCD sets ). Use the HDMI input when ever possible. If you’re using a cable box that utilizes composite ( yellow, red & white cords ) you are really robbing yourself of a superior viewing experience.

recommend a min of at least 60 inch

It’s simple as this… LCD is better for light rooms,videogames.. Plasma is better for Sports and Movies.

I’ve got it… nice tv.. I use it for my bedroom.

can anyone please tell me the recommended viewing distance for a 40-42 inch tv in SD and HD?

ya we have philips products here including tv’s..but i dont think we have that tv models..ive been typing it up under my local stores and no luck. =|

i think it was been around for atleast 40 years in australia its a very good brad , i think they world wide now, i lookd on back and said made in belgium.

is philips a australian brand or atleast very popular there cuz i dont think they have it here in canada..but thats a gorgeous tv..if i didnt have a budget, id prolly get that.

grats..ive been waiting for about 3 months for good tvs to go on sale…and im personally going for a plasma (first was going for lcd) but i want plasma for sports and movies…games shouldnt be that much a of a disadv. but im getting plasma cuz plasma’s dont need 120 hz..so im saving a few hundred bucks if i was to get an lcd…i really cant wait to get my **** hooked up and running, hyped!

i just got a 42 ich phillips lcd its the best one i found its 30000:1 full hd and more and only $1889 australian dollor cant remember name i get it tomorow so yeah
